    Yes,

I am quite astonished, I am still unsure if mine will be $450 per year, it really does seem that this Governement is intent on crippling the transport and economy with their "Green Taxes".

    http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/road-tax/?deriv=38185

I really have had enough, Council Tax will continue to rise to support the increasing problem of a burdening pension, tax will continue to rise, and indirect taxes like this are crippling me.......

Still possibility I may be going to Australia in the next couple of years, if it will cost about $2,500 STG to ship my car over, that will be coming with me Goodness knows what I do for parts, although VX in Australia is Holden, their are no diesel cars in their range, so a V6 CDTI will be unique, I just hope their staellite discs will work in the CD70 unit

Is it me or does it seem that the older and more polluting your car is, the better off you are?

My Vectra is a 1.8 VVTi 06 on, and on a 12 month basis, this year is £170, 2009 is £205 and 2010 is £300!!!!!!

Now the wife has got a gas guzzling 1.8 Peugoet 306 on an L plate and this year it's £185, 2009 is also £185 and £200 in 2010. These figures are exactly the same for my 1984 2.0 Opel Manta!

Snowman, you got your ears on?

    Vehicle : Vectra cdti estate

    Trim : Get a

    Engine : Dirty diesel

    Year : 2006

    Default

    vec-c cdti 120 - £145.00 / £150.00 / £155.00

    vec-b estate 1.8 R reg - £185 / £185 / £200.00

so our car is ok and only a tenner more in 2010, work car will be gone well before it has chance to be £200.00 though

Mines going to be £260 a year, I am sick to the teeth of this ****ing country.

Some one needs to explain in simple terms where our money goes each month to these friggin toss pots.

One months wage covers the council tax, six months wage covers my mortage and all other bills are covered under two more months wage!

So out of every twelve months of the year and pay packets you have three months where you wont have heavy excess going out its a ****in joke!

Yet jo iraqy and all the other ruddy foreigners get a house, car, food, clothes, etc etc etc etc etc paid for!!!!!

**** OFF LABOUR BEFORE ANNOYED SCOUSER COMES AND BURNS NO 10 DOWN!!!

    Rant Flamin Over.

Someone (us) has to pay for them to challenge the freedom of information act. So they can hide what they "fleece"us in their exorbetant expences.

Sadly I go from band f to band j.....this tax on the driver is a real con now. There are some real sheds on the road that spew fumes and do less MPG than me and yet get away with almost nothing.
