I put a set on my previous vec, the ones without the visual aid and they were fine.
I was given a bit of advice before fitting sensors to my Vectra.. Dont go for the ones with a visual display, go for an audible set.
Why? When reversing you will concentrate more on the visual display than what is actually going on behind you.
If for example you were in a supermarket carpark, and reversing, and someone walks behind you with a trolly, or someone just walks past chances are you wont see them with a visual display up front.
Even with the sensors i have, i still look behind whilst reversing. I would now find it difficult to park properly without them!!

The visual display ones also have a buzzer built into the display so you can hear the buzzer more clearly, the unit can sit on the dash or fit nicely in the gap below the heater controls.
Ive got the wireless ones but havent fitted them yet. they're exactly the same except the sensors' ECU is wireless to the display.
I cant figure out which cable is reverse live on my estate (its not the same as the how to because that uses a hatch i think)

Parking a vectra is easy. Why do you need sensors?
