    Default Vx Warranty question

Can someone tell me how the 3yr warranty works. I bought the car 2nd hand (2 years old 23,000) from a VW dealer, so do I take it to them if I get any problems, or can I take it to my local Vx dealer?

    cheers,

    paul

Just take it to your local VX dealer who has to look at it for you and undertake any warranty work ..

    if i remember rightly

how a vauxhall warranty works is that for the 1st year it covers 100% of the car then in the 2nd & 3rd year only covers all mechanical parts but excludes wear and tear parts like zorst, brakes etc etc.

Should be 100% covered on sensor's.. Not a 'wear and tear' thing..Intermittant failure may make it hard for them to track down thou..Bit like my (non) rain sensing wipers..

Don't Network Q still cover the brakes for 12 months? When I bought my Astra they were covered and I tried my hardest to wear them out!

Yep, Network Q covers basically everything in the first year - definitely everything mechanical. Brakes, clutches, etc.
