Absolute shyte, however the VAG established such a high and mighty rep over other firms is beyond me, it must be that the owners are the sort that can't admit they bought a load of tat, this car is fragile to say the least, and the dealer network from my experience cannot be bothered, ppl say my local Evans Halshaw dealer are bad, but in all honesty I never found them bad at all and if they rank as bad Skoda must rank as abysmal, slow parts/repairs and a what do you want us to do about it attitude, I don't know how much longer I will have to keep it for but the day can't come soon enough, right now I have my legs crossed like a virgin in a r$pist community hoping that nothing major goes wrong with it.

my missus brought a rover 100 diesel from a skoda dealer and it was abismaly repaired by them, so much so that when it needed an MOT it failed in all the places they had made repair's.........

i went in and asked for anything that had the list of work done to it over the previous year......guess what no longer existed......but they did do a free MOT and gave me a SKODA badge free for my departed great uncle's wreath (he had only skoda's for year's and also rally'd them, that's another story )

customer service was pish poor to say the least with her, i stepped in and all was done asap

    must look menacing i think

When I had my first Octavia in 2000, they were mostly still small local dealers who really wanted to help. Then VAG insisted they all pay lots of money to upgrade their premises and facilities. This lead to a lot of dealers (including my local one, Forward Motors) going broke. The survivors were mainly the big corporates, who only worry about the bottom line.
