I went from over £100 for my sky HD,Multi rooms, Setanta and full package, also ontop my broadband and phone with virgin.
Switched to Virgin and pay £63.50 for everything.Obviously I dont have all the HD channels but I dont miss them as Virgins V+ upscales the pic.Looks ok to me on my 40"LCD as good as some HD broadcasts. Some people have had hassle with Virgin Customer services but I have not experianced this.Sky are no better at times so its up to you at the end of the day .I heard all the pros and cons and cancelled Sky and never looked back.

Yeah, i had sky and had broadband added, then sky plus, then multiroom. And the sky broadband is brilliant, fastest i or anyone whos been round has ever seen. But the connection box is just outside my house, Think i'm running about 37 at the minute, for free

My sky broadband was without a doubt the worst broadband i've ever had, Could never get anymore than 600k download and about 200k up, changed over to BT who actually have support staff that speak English and know about computer & network gear.. they sent an engineer out, (Something that Sky and aol didnt want to do) and after a few tests he found that one of the Sky+ boxes had a faulty telephone lead on it and he also found a faulty adsl filter.. we now get 6.5mb down and 644 up... which isnt bad considering that we are around 6miles from the local exchange.. Sky BB for us was cr4p and you are tied into using their router..

BT vision is ok but you have to be in a good freeview area, and a lot of the good programmes are pay per view.. I prefer our Sky HD though..

lol Lost should get lost a series thats went on to long, likewise Prison Break, Soccer AM is pathetic now Lovejoy gone.

Virgin is worth it especially if you pay £99 and get a Dbox for some extra channels Now do THAT with Sky.

lol @ biglad. fibre optic???? where do you live? a nasa research lab?
they actually use 2 cables a cat5 cable and a co-ox (black one with a higher dielectric than ordinary co-ox) one for telephone and bband and one for tv. none the less,..... they still dig the **** out of you garden to install it.
