    Default error/fault code

With the help of a fault code reader - thankd Big Pete - I managed to read my cars fault code. P0105 - Generic, Map/BARO Circuit malfunction.
It only does it in 4th on 75% throttle at about 3000rpm. Any ideas anyone????

This info is for a Signum 2.2 direct but will probably be similar dependant on your model.

    Intake manifold pressure sensor:

Pressure sensor voltage 0 - 5 volts, engine switched off at sea level 4.5 to 4.8 volts, the value is governed by local conditions, altitude/flutuations in atmospheric pressure. Engine warm and idling accelerator pedal not actuated, 0.5 to 1.1 volts.

The value increases with a brief opening of throttle valve (accelerator)

Check power supply of component, ignition off, plug connection unplugged, measurement on wiring harness end of terminal C (+) to terminal A (-) ignition on value should be 4.8 to 5.3 volts.
