new digital camera

need to buy a new digital camera for family shots and maybe the odd vectra c meet
just want to know if any one could advise which one to buy or avoid any advise would be appreciated in and around £100.

dont know much about them niel but currys r selling a kodak 8mp camera for half price 79.99 i think mate cant be that bad from kodak

I have a Kodak C875 which I've had about a year now so its probably not available any more but I can vouch for the Kodak cameras being pretty good and easy to use, does panoramic shots and video as well.

if your just after a point and shoot type thing, Argos are doing the Kodak V1233 reduced from £250 to £124.99.Its a 12 meg would give you awesome quality

Dont just look at megapixels as more megapixels dont always mean better pictures in fact they can make pictures worse, as you are craming more ona tiny sensor the pic quality gets worse, look for a good brand with a decent lens, this is more important then megapixels

I just quoted the pixels as a quick reference.overall This is a pretty good spec camera for the £100 bracket. My brother in law bought one and is really impressed with the quality
