    Default glass cloth

    Hi all.
When I got in my car at work, the inside of the windscreen was soaked with condensation.[ so were all the cars as it happens, i,m glad to say].
What I want to ask is what do you all use to wipe your inside glass with, I usually use paper towl but the bits of fluff "etc" make more mess than it solves, after I have cleaned the windows I have to get the vacuum out to put the car back to is prestine condition, are the micro cloths that clean and shiney sell good for cleaning the windows,
any advice will be much appreciated, or perhaps i should not be so meticulous.
    cheers all.
    Ed.

in my opinion the best thing for cleaning your glass is that blue roll you might find in your workplace, depending on where you work of course.. its something to do with the starch in the paper iirc.

i know what u mean about them cloths tho they make a right mess..

Mine was the same this evening when I got in the car to drive home.

What I tend to do, and did this evening, is not bother with any cloths - for the reasons you mentioned. What I do is let the engine warm up for a few minutes, then press the defrost button on the Climate Control. On a car with the regular AC its the same as whacking up the heat to high, fan speed to a high setting and directing all the air to the screen - the button just does all that in one go. The condensation then goes very quickly.

Maybe worth a go next time?

    Hi duncan.
I used the DEF button but the condensation was so bad it was taking ages to move it,
I got fed up of waiting, perhaps if i kept a leather in the car, mind you they are useless when they are dry, and it would soon dry out in the car.

Look on the Lakeland site, they sell a window cloth with a mister spray for cleaning windows in the house.
It cleans without smearing using just plain water and I keep the cloth in the car for the (very) rare moments when I have a misted up windscreen. It really is that good.

I think it's excellent mate. Just don't over use an individual piece as it does break up.
