    Thats what your connectors should look like, left shade pin 1 is ground pin 2 is 12V, right shade pin 1 is 12V and pin 2 is ground. You can take a feed from the fusebox on the left of the dashand up the A pillar or use the cables going into the overhead light, Brown is 12V and blue/red is ground.
