    Default Snowflakes in this weather?

I currently have about 3mm on my front tyres which i had put back on as my winter wheels.I thought there was more tread than what there actually is! So it's got me thinking about putting my Snowflakes back on as i'm skint just now and don't fancy buying 2 tyres in the near future.
Has anyone had any bother with the current weather conditions with Snowflakes fitted?

So far up here there hasn't been to much snow only the odd flutter. It has been icy in the mornings but i haven't had any scary moments (touch wood) this winter.

No worries here, in fact just changed the factory Continentals to Falken FK452's and have more grip and confidence than ever before with it. Almost, Nearly, as good as the F1's I had on the SRi.

I don't think the wheels will matter that much TBH, the footprint will be fairly similar anyway. The biggest problem I have is not being able to switch the ESP off, the last time we had any real snow I couldn't get out due to the ESP cutting in and killing the engine, spinning wheels would have melted the snow but it wouldn't let me
