window tinting - pics & advice required

I am looking to tint the back half of my Vectra which is a facelift, has anybody got any pics they can share & advise which tint they went with. The place I am taking it too have - Limo black, dark smoke & light smoke. Thanks. Any comments appreciated regarding tinting issues (visability, etc).

Hi mate,

I had limo on the backs of my vectra. I loved it but tbh it was a royal pain in the arse when tryin to back it up in the dark !!!!

Cheers Nick, I have been thinking about limo on the back screen & dark smoke on the back/sides but your comments add to my concern & I might go dark smoke on the back screen as well, thanks.

had mine done in dark smoked gives you that nice tinted look without compromising your rear view vision,use acompanythat takes your door cards of so touget the whole widow tinted not just the bit you can see,i have a new shape estate which cost me 300 squid

don't get me wrong though, I wouldn't have changed it for anyone - just had to make good use of the side mirrors :-)

Cheers Don Paul, I have been quoted £200 for a hatch, I will check that they remove the door cards, it's good to know that dark smoke is good for visability, thanks.

Nick, thats the thing I suppose if it was a van you drove you'd only have mirrors anyway, I like the idea of limo on the back & might have to compromise, cheers.
