Hello everyone
I know this may have been asked times before, but need help choosing.
When the weather starts to get better, I want to get calipers painted.
What colour do you recommend for my Ultra Blue Vectra??

Got mine done in silver mate, But the old man's new 'C' that The members of this site found for him , will have red calipers behind it's SRi wheels..
Personal choice at the end of the day..
Thanks, silver was my first choice but I wondered what other peoples views were
I went for red with mine, I think it looks good on darker cars ...
I've gone for Yellow mate -
Gold for me
whats the best method of painting - i like the yellow and gold...
Smooth hammerite (two coats), that's all mine is. Give the calipers a good spraying with brake cleaner and use a tiny wire brush to clean them off. I continued repeating the process with the brake cleaner and wire brush until the brake cleaner was running off the job still clear/clean. That process took about 10 minutes for each brake. Then I gave each caliper its first coat and by the time I'd given the last caliper its first coat, the first caliper I painted was dry enough to receive the second coat. Mind you, I was in the fortunate position to be able to get the car up on a two post lift and get all four wheels off at the same time, which made life a bit easier. sounds good to me - no need to worry about a ramp, got access to a couple of two posters in my dads work - certanly makes them stand out from the crowd..
