    Default Standard CD player and cruise control question

    looking at an SXi are the standard cd players any good?
    also, how does the cruise control work??

    I have the crd2005 unit in my car an IMO its crud. keeps skipping cd tracks on cold mornings.

    If you have cruise cxontrol fitted the controls are on the end of the indicator stalk on the left side of the steering wheel. The front switch of the 2 is divided into 2 functions, the bottom part is the resume and speed incremental decrease and the top part is the set and speed incremental increase.The very back switch will disable the cruise control once it is ON as will the clutch and brake pedals.

    so basically drive along... push the top button then im cruising??

    and then to come out, tap the brake?

    The CC will disengage when you press the clutch pedal too.

    Yes just to the right of centre on the bottom of the instrument panel a green speedo symbol strangely enough

    It won't work until you above approx 20mph though.

    And you have to press the brake after the igintion is switched on or it will not work either.
