Just looking at the prices for these..... the B4 are OE replacements, the B6 are sports dampers designed for standard springs, and the B8 for lowered cars....

Only looked at one site, but

    B6 - Rear £101 ea. Front £162 ea. = £526

    B8 - Rear £105 ea. Front £166 ea. = £542

Bit of a price difference to the £130 for the set for the B4's that a few people have had!!!

thats what i originally wanted but then was advised to just go with shortened dampers as since i am lowered already, there s no need for adjustable coilovers. but i thinks its gonna be the winner lol, not much price difference either, thnx everyone!

I just rang LMF, asked to speak to Steve (as always) told him my dilemma with regards to suspension options and he rocomended the Bilstein B12 kit, basically top of the line and consequently costs more than the B4,6,8 etc.

The kit consists of Bilstein shocks with H&R spring, Lowers the car 40mm at the front and 30mm at the rear which makes is sit perfectly (especially on 19's ) as I always felt the front sat higher than the back anyway.

It's a fantastic kit, feels the same if not better than the adjustable Eibach coilover kit I had on my Astra G and well worth the cash, get on the blower to Steve @ LMF and I'm sure he'll sort you out a good enough deal whatever you're after

i've got the B8 and mine sure is planted................

what we need here is a back to back comparision, a selection of cars each with the various bilstiens and the same bit of twisty road, everyone has a go in each car then maybe the best option can be decided
