Might be worth looking into the Distance selling rules, I would email him and remind him that under the distant selling rules he may have to notify you of warranty on items he sells..

i re-emailed him last night say that he has listed this item as brand new and that there should be a 12 mth warranty from the manufactor, and he reply YOU MUST BE RIGHT

yeah, he is a trader so must give a warranty of 12 months and the distance selling rules apply (return for money back within 7 days no questions asked)

Sounds like a bit of a shyster to me Glynn, I'd look elsewhere, i have to 2 of these guns, bought them when we raced 4x4's, and they have been trouble free for a couple of years now.. The battery voltage, MAH size & shape are quite common and its not hard to get hold of replacements if needed...

i think i will stay clear pete, i have been after one of these for a while as i fix car at home for family and have no compresor. just to make like a bit easyer
