why dont companies just apologise for getting things wrong, instead of sending long winded letters like this.
At least your getting the work done now to rectify the problems,
Better late than never i suppose.
WELL DONE MATE!
So they have basically said that the parts were ok, they fitted it correctly but they will change a £3.5k part free anyway! yeah right!! Still, excellent result!!
Indeed a good result.
One would have thought that an 'Operations Manager' would know the basics of how to write a letter. Using 'faithfully' when you know the person's name?
Tut. Tut.
"It's not our fault"
"It's not Vauxhalls fault"
"However we'll replace a £3.5k part free 'cos we want shot of you..."
Nice one mate, I bet it's a bit of a relief to know things are getting sorted, it isn't easy at times to challenge and have the time to do what you've done, so heres to you.
well done mate
the more people stop just rolling over and start fighting for their rights the better service everyone will get
just a shame you had to go through all the agrivation to get to the just ending
at least its going to get sorted..............
Nice result - strange that the materials are all ok and it was all fitted ok - but we will change it out anyway.
One wonders that if any party had admitted liability they would have had to fork out a lot more than fitting the £3.5k worth of equipment.
Well done - good result.
Exactly!lol, good point! Exactly what i was thinking!More then likely. In this day and age it's a case of deny any liability but deal with the original problem quoting 'gesture of goodwill' as the reason!
Anyway, excellent result TT - bet you're more than chuffed to be getting a new gearbox in the end!
