    Default Ollie Bridewell's Mini

    Hi guy's,
I am a fan of all types of Motorbike Racing. Last year, a young British Superbike Racer, Ollie Bridewell, was killed at Mallory Park. Last October, at Brands Hatch, his brother unveiled this Mini that he and Ollie had been working on before Ollie's death. Ollie's brother Tommy finished the project in memory of his brother. The mini has a Yamaha R1 engine in it. It sounded awesome!! Thought you guy's might like to see the finished result.

Brilliant tribute to his brother. Must have been a difficult thing to pick up again after what happened.

some engineering gone into that, a chain driven rear wheel drive mini !! That would be awesome to drive, the R1 is not a high torque engine but revs its nuts off and make good bhp, wonder how it translates into a car ? probably wery quick if you thrash it but a bit lumpy at low revs.

Z-Cars kit by the looks of it...

these bike engined mini's go quite well....really weird using a sequential shifter in a mini, but they don't half fly ( and are bl00dy noisy as the engine is right behind your head under an alloy sheet cover :eek )

I remember that sad day last year, tragic loss, he had great talent, and will be missed by many, well done for tommy for finishing it, some work gone into that methinks
