    Default Strut Brace Question.

    Toying with the idea of fitting a front strut brace and was looking for some recommendations.
    LMF do a WIECHER SPORT brace for £114.95 are these any good ?

    I think you will find that is the same make as the one from Regal.
    A few people have fitted them.
    I think the only issue is if it clears the brake fluid reservoir or not.

    It's an '07' 2.0T. Are there issues regarding it fouling on this ?

    I fitted one on a 2.2. It clears the coolant expansion tank no bother, but it was tight for the brake fluid reservoir. I had to use washers under the mounting bracket so that it would clear it. Other than that, no problems.

    Can't see the 2.0T having any problems that can't be solved

    Looks like having a word with my mate Mr. Ed Taylor about machining some nice shiney stainless "Packers" instead of grubby washers !

    Washers or strip ally will have to do any thicker and the bonnet might not shut!
