Hi there, new to the site....

I pass the plant every day on the daily commute. From the directions, it sounds like the meet is on the site of the old Hooton Aerodrom/ museum. Thats a couple of miles from the main factory. If your coming from the M56 watch the bend on the slip. It caught me out a couple of times!

The Hooton aerodrom/museum are actually within the factory grounds.
The old run way is where the new cars are stored prior to dispatch.

Probably missed this in the bulk of the thread - do you need pennies up front, or do we pay at the door? Know it's only a couple of quid, but would hate to get there and find I should have paid in advance!!!! Also just checking - is adding my name here enough - you don't need us to add ourselves to the ClubVec site do you!?

Nope, as long as your on our list, then everything is taken care of. You pay on the gate, and ive added everyone to the full clubvec list

It's been a couple of years since I was on the aerodrome, so I drove past it last night

My god (AKA AJA ) where did all those cars come from? (1000s of astras) Last time I looked that was an empty field. Now I am curious to know where the meet is being held. It aint going to be where I had in mind!

Also just found out that Total Vauxhall magazine will be there so we need some restraints for Mr Corrie and his i300 diesel !!!!........LUV ya really ian

They may let you on to the hard standing by the paint shop or failing that it may be the big car park you can see from the 53
