    Default tesco masking tape is........

    not very good

i've been messing about with some spray paint today (first time ever!) anyway i got some masking from tesco (i know but it was handy), tonight when i've gone to remove it its turned all sticky and left loads of glue behind

it seems to have reacted with the paint or lacquer and its semi dissolved the glue

whats the best thing to remove it with remembering its just been lacquered so its probably not fully hard yet ( how long will it take to fully harden)?

not good mate, i would leave it a good 24hrs and then rub the glue off with bug and tar remover, this should work a treat

I'd leave it for at least a couple of days and grin and bear that you'll have the residue sat there. Then get something like AG Intensive Tar Remover. It'll shift that stuff in no time.

EDIT: LOL, great minds eh Rich!
