Default do the wood effect trims in an elite just pull off?

im thinking about colour coding the trims in an elite and was just wondering they just pulled out or does the ones on the doors need the door trim removed?

Has anyone just masked around and sprayed them in situ? It's the only thing I dislike about my recently purchase Signum Elite!

dont just mask it up, 3M do a trim tape that is perfect for this sort of thing, its called ;trim tape' aswell. has a 10mm hard piece that you can push through the gap in trims.... works a treat!

Thanks for that, i'll get a couple of rolls! I really think that dodgy 'wood' strip will look a lot better in silver or the same colour as the car so I shall be giving it a go!
