    Default Passenger Airbag Outline

Here we have a strange problem I have never seen before. I have always rubbed my dash down with a damp cloth as I dont like the shine that most products give.Over the past few weeks Ive had the car I have noticed the out line of the weakend part of the dash where the airbag breaks through.Though smooth to the touch the outline can be seen in certain lights.Has anyone else had this issue and if so how can I resolve it.

Attached is a pic though the camera struggles to pick the mark up.

On mine you can just detect where the dash changes to the airbag bit, if you see what I mean, but certainly nothing like that - that's very odd!

What if you try one of those dash clean products (AutoGlym/Meguires etc.) Depending on the product, or the way you apply/buff it etc., it won't come up shiny but it may(?) darken it all down a bit?

Where the outline is, is the textured surface still there or is it smoother than the rest of the dash?

No all the texture is there and its all as it should be.It just appears the line has more shine than the dash Duncan.
I am going to look at getting a product to flat any gloss products off the dash and go from there.
