    Default 1.9CDTi Oil Change Tool Required please

    Probably been posted 100 times but hey ho!!

    Just remind me Tools required for oil change on 06 1.9cdti 150 SRi

    32mm Spanner / Socket ??

    T45 Torx Bit ??

    Oil Filter + O Rings / Seals - Part no. anyone ????

    4.25ltrs Of 0W-30 Fully Synthetic Castrol Edge (Turbo Diesel) @ £43.00

    Anything Else ??????????

    Personally i would do an engine flush aswell just done mine last week!

    Something to catch the oil in? Halfords do a purpose made oil catcher for about a fiver iirc.

    13mm socket for the sump plug if i remember plus it's always worth putting a new washer on the sump plug

    Oil filter - 93183412
    Washer - 93183670

    Flushing is ok as long as it's always been done, don't flush an engine with more than 40k on it unless you know for certain it's always been done, I'm sure someone can get you some VX 5/30 for just over £20 on the TC if you ask.

    National Tyres quoted me just over £40 for an oil change using the same Castrol oil you've spec'd and a filter, plus they do it for you. Providing you don't want to flush sounds like a far easier way to me.

    I didn't go for it in the end as I had oil sump plug issues
