Secure my Shed?

Okay, so moving house next month and my office is being relocated from the main house to a brand new summer house. Will be fully insulating it, carpeting etc...its going to be really good. The question is though.....

How do I keep it secure? I will be putting good locks on doors and windows but I want a good alarm system, deterent etc.

Anyone suggest anything? or done similar

Want to spend about £100 on security, there shouldnt be anything too expensive left in there, I will remove the laptops at night.

Could you not just link it up to your house alarm.

I would also make sure the garden is well lit with a couple of spot lights and fit a cttv camera or even a dummy camera.

I'd just get an alarm system of ebay. My house one was going a bit funny, just got a new Optima one and fitted it.

easy to follow instructions and even if the alarm box on a shed can be reached it will go off if tampered with.

Kit 2 (HSA 3400) would do the job nicely. Kit 1 would as well, but it's a keyfob only system so you lose the fob and you can't get in without setting the alarm off! lol - or if somebody finds it they can turn the alarm off easily. Kit 2 has an internal keypad so better all in really.

Just looked further, looks like those kits may have been slightly superseded looking at places like Homebase - although you can get Kit 1 for £100 at Argos/Homebase. You'll also find loads of them on eBay as well. Kit 2 @ £75 BIN + £12.50 postage is one example quickly found.

wireless alarms can be jammed very easily....

I would also avoid wireless alarms more trouble than there worth
