Default Which lowering Springs / Will a 30mm Drop affect ride quality much?

Sorta been looking at springs and think i'm going to order a set of 30mm Eibachs at £155 (unless you's can find me something cheaper also with abit of quality ie NOT Jamex). From previous experience eibachs have always been great.

Also will a 30mm drop make the ride much harsher? Its an 06 Sri Cdti on the standard 17" rims.

    All replies appreciated

    Cheers

    Rik

I'm running eibach springs, 30 ish mm drop. Got mine from 888 engineering £140 ish specially altered spring rates seemingly. Car sit far more evenl. Fantastic addition. No comfort lost at all. The car sit much firmer through the corners body roll is almost gone! Will upgrade to bilstein shocks when the standard ones wear. Remember to get the steering geometry checked once you've fitted them or it will be all over the place!!!

I'm thinking of lowering my 1.9 CDTi (150) Design by 30mm and fitting B6 shocks on the rear, I notice you have a tow bar fitted and wondered if there were any issues towing. TIA

Really with the Vectra, upgrading the rubbish standard shockers is the first thing you should do to improve handling - especially if you're already running the SRi lowered suspension.
