Default Andy L -Signum IS3 Irmscher

A visit over to Andy L today, the signum about to get Detailed, with a steady flow of members dropping by to drink Andy's tea and coffee
First I started on the alloys with the EZ detail brush and a fine brush:

then the first Espuma Activo Foaming:

    a rinse from bottom up:

after washing, drying with the cobra guzzler, paint depth readings and 3m tape 3434, the test section loomed.

With the test section sorted, Andy happy with the results I set off with ultrafina and a light cut pad. This worked well until I had to step up fine cut and a polishing pad on the roof and bonnet. Then whilst working my way down the near side:
    passenger door:

the paint just came rock hard. Light cut pad, 3m fine cut, 3 hits at 1800rpms! Got there, but had to stick it out big time. Similar thing happend on off side rear quarter, before going back for the rest of the off side and using ultrafina:
    some direct sun shots:

Having finally got round, and returned to the fine cut panels withh the ultrafina to tidy up my hologramming I then got the PC out and a finishing pad. Dodo Lime prime. This was topped with Nattys Red Limited Edition as the sun was pretty strong. Alloys treated with Klasse AIO and tail pipes too. Tyres and arches dressed with Highstyle. Glass with Espuma Vue polish.
I am sure there will be lots of afters pics, and many others to as the audience had cameras too.

thanks to Andy L, great Day!

I nipped round to take look on the way home from work. Absolutely stunning. The reflections are beyond what I've ever seen on any car.

Top job but didn't expect anything else.

Worryingly I correctly identified the wax just from the smell.

Sorry I missed everyone. Looks like a great mini meet judging by the pics Andy has on the lappy.
