    Default 5h1t myself

    on my way to work this morning and noticed a bird few houndred metres in front of me hovering...3 seconds later...BANG...the fuc*er hit my bonnet at 60mph....good job I;d polised it the night before and was nice and smooth, it just flew off and bounced onto the other side of the road...luckily no damage to the bonnet..stopped top make sure..thank god!

    i take it the bird was dead then? did it have one of these tied around its head in true banzai fashion?

    I've noticed a trend in suicidal pigeons lately, I can’t help but laugh when I see the amount of feathers that comes off them as they get bounced into the air.

    Had a sparrow stuck in the lower grille earlier this year. Lovely to remove but other than that I've been bird casualty free.

    Picture the scene....
    Many years sgo (about 1985). A brand new Cavalier 1.6L with 45 miles on the clock.
    The A505 from Luton to Hitchin, before speed cameras. Early morning, and I'm very, very late.
    In short succession, A crow, my windscreen and the wipers were taken out.
    He flew up in front of me, when I was doing about a ton.

    Very, very messy.........

    we have a lot of ducks around here who just refuse to move when you come down the road
