If your drivers seat squeeks...........

There was a post a couple of weeks back about squeeky drivers seats.
Mine did this also and no matter what i did, i couldn't stop it.
Today it went for its first service and they've cured it.
The cause is the HEIGHT ADJUSTER not any springs as was mentioned.

You know what would b good? A searchable (by keyword) knowledge base for adding common faults and fixes - this is one in particular that loads of peeps have suffered from.

What they adjusted it right up so your head jammed against the roof lining, thus stopping the squeak.

this is due to it being as low down as possible in most cases and all you have to do is lift it up one notch

Exactly what i was told, but it didn't make the slightest bit of difference (in my case anyway) I'm now squeekless !!!
