So ppl,
How many of you use V-Power Diesel.
Is it any better than the sd Diesel.

i have never tried it m8
I tried it on a trip to Scotland. I did think the car ran better and got more MPG. If I had the money I would put it in every time but now I only put it in for special occasions.
I use it and the car does seem more responsive. I won't use supermarket stuff anyway because I don't trust them if it gets contaminated.
Of any interest? http://forum.vectra-c.com/showthread.php?t=40196
I've now gone back to Shell "normal" as it's the cheapest round here (£103.9 today). Strange, but car seems just the same with normal fuel and mpg difference ain't worth worrying about.
Perhaps if you live on the rev line and limiter, then 99 RON is for you. I know others swear by it, each to their own
can't afford it here, normal from tesco is £110.9 pl
on my old B 2.0 DTi i found it ran queiter with it and i had a tuning box to. it seemed to reduced smoke on foot to the floor times
Diesels aren't as suseptable to fuel problems as tuned petrols, if you put cheap fuel in a tuned petrol it can blow up....
I use the V-Power and swear by it along with Millers 4 Sport. I found BP Ultimate to be worse but in the 3ltr CDTIs most say it is better.
Unlike many performance fuels that just have things added, V-Power is supposedly refined from gas and there for fundamentally different. Who knows, I like it and it sure isn't hurting my power is it?
I use it in my siggy 2.0dti and it runs loads quiter and i get better mpg and it does cut down the amount of smoke when flooring it from traffic lights lol
We don't get V-Power in the few remaining Shell stations over here. BP Ultimate Diesel is better than their ordinary diesel, which is in turn better than Tesco diesel.
Though, I run mine on Tesco most of the time with a double dose of Millers.
