    Default vxr brakes (345mm) fit under my 17" alloys?

    hi all ive seen some vxr brake callipers, disc and pads on ebay? will the 345mm brakes fit in my 17" alloys? have vectra 1.9cdti 07 reg exclusive?

    you will need to have 18's for them to fit

    Are you sure Chris as i know the new 2.8 turbo plod cars run VXR brakes and they are on 17's !!!!..........But if anyone know's better i will stand corrected

    Back in a V6 !!!!!!!!!!!! And lovin it !!!

    I think the 17`s on 2.8`s are made to fit the brakes, I could be wrong but am sure I read somewhere they were, and standard 17`s will foul ...

    Im running 18s on mine there is a gap between the wheel and caliper but it is only just over 1.5" so it would be mighty close.

    The VXR brakes fit under "most" of the 17" wheels, the police run on the 2008 Elite wheels, which are the same as the previous exclusive type.

    The best bet is to go along to a meet where there is a VXR and try your wheel on.

    White Vectra 'plod' '2.8 T' car parks in a laybay near where I live,they do pursuit training on that particular stretch of road.I talk to them ocassionally.They say that the 17's are far better for their type of driving than the 18's or 19's.The 19's in particular they say are prone to torque steer,tramming and a generally poor ride.
