    and it has the rain sensing wipers and a sun strip...result!

    Well done Roy,great result but how did you persuade the windscreen company???

    After seeing how AutoGlass took off my screen/roof trims once when I had my screen replaced (no care whatsoever, just practically ripped them off - almost chinned the guy!!) I'd maybe recommend you take them off before you hand the car over. I know next screen I get I'll be doing that. I'm sure one of the trims was damaged, creased, and was never the same after - causing it to never sit properly and end up failing prematurely.

    He's done a good job, no complaints. Thought there was a scratch at the top of the windscreen for a moment but it turned out to be a hair.

    Pretty sure it's the standard way of telling the person on the phone your screen has all the extras so they put one on the van with all the extras.

    The guy coming to fit it couldn't care a toss whether or not your original has them!

    Before (you can see the inside of the cover and the ribbon cable)...



    After (you can see through the little square as there is no rain sensor..yet)...



    The mirror cover is now fixed firmly whereas before you could move it about.
