    Default immediate help required.

    My misses bless her thought the car needed oil without checking the dip stick and poured 1ltr into it so it's now half way up the dipstick, and spitting oil out everytime I change gear, being turboed their is two much oil in the charge hosing now and ******ing up the apsolute sensor creating power loss.
    Question is the oil drain plug underneath the gear box a torx screw in plug? Got to do it in the dark now as going to london tommorow.

    if you mean the plug on the sump then yes mate its torx

    As far as i know mate, its a torx screw on the sump itself. not owning a 2.0T i'm not 100% sure if its same position but cant see why not.

    Probably a bit late to the party, but deffo a Torx bolt and the sump plug is situated on the rear face of the sump.

    How much was it driven with that much excess oil in? It could've blown a seal/gasket if it was a while.

    The torx bit size is T45 to undo the sump plug.

    Would it not be easier to undo the oil filter and pour some out?

    It's just as easy, if not easier, to just loosen the sump bolt a bit on the 2.0T Dave. Easier to control and less messy than undoing the oil filter.

    oil filter on a 2.0T is vertical and on top, so no benefit in doing it that way.. sump plug only reallyy.

    I Drained The Sump Plug As Duncan Said Quite Easy Once I Kicked It Hard As Really Tight. The Engine Bay Is A Bit Of A Mess With Oil Being Ditched Through The Bov Going To Try And Clean Up A Bit Tommorow. Trying To Escape The Excess Oil Within The Intercooler & Pipework Is Going To Be A Problem Though, The Misses Paid For The Bother Though As I Banihed Her From The Westlife Concert Ha Ha
