According to VX website the new 10,000/1yr service intervals for the 1.9cdti only apply to cars fitted with a DPF. I had emailed VX to check whether mine had a DPF or not. Just got in from work and had a message from some woman with a well dodgy accent saying that this was in relation to..."your query regarding your Varctra". I am presuming she meant to say Vectra....but anyway what I think she said is as follows.
If on the VIN plate there is number between 1 and 130 then the car does NOT have a DPF.
If there is a number 0.50 then it DOES have a DPF.
Well have been oot with me torch and I have z157 and 1.20 written inside a box. I am presuming that I do not have the dreaded DPF then. Can anyone on here inform me in a way i can actually understand??
