To all that run eagle F1 GSD3's,i thought i would let you know that i have found that there are two types!There propper one that is a really good tyre,does'nt squeak and sticks really well is made in Germany,and has this written on the sidewall.The second has made in Thailand written on the side wall,they both look the same but my god they are not!The one from Thailand is horrible it squeaks and induces alot of understeer,and generally has no grip,its ok for traction and breaking thought lol.I am still unsure as to weather or not its a copy or not,but reading around on the internet there apears to be two compounds from goodyear.
So before the tyre fitter pops them on have a look,if they have made in Thailand,run they are natsy lol."

The ones made in Thailand are not good for our climate.
Below +15C they are really horrible.

Tire sellers who sells the "Thai" version are not serious tire salesman.
They are playing with your life and money


Been there.. done that.. and got new tires from resellers.
They even got back a tire which I had run flat.

I emailed Goodyear about this last year. The official response was, Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 for uk use are either made in Germany or China.

Anything else are not official Goodyear tyres and should be reported immediately.

If you're not sure, just go on the website and got to the 'contact us' section and ping an e-mail off to them.

Not got goodyear tyre's on my car but will note this and check all family and freind's cars now,just to be on the safe side......:

Some people will counterfiet anything,unbelievable that people can do this and get away with it,something should be sorted out.......

They aren't counterfeit Glen (the rest of that link explains), they're a different compound made for hot countries - so if used in a climate like ours, if the temp is under 15C then they perform shockingly bad.
