Default Oh No, not another Angel Eyes question...

    Right then peeps...

I have been given the option of getting a new car for my 40th next year. To be brutally honest tho, I love my Veccie . She is, touch wood, reliable and is still a head turner in my opinion.

Instead of replacing it for a later Veccie or god forbid the new Mondeo, I have decided to keep her and treat the old girl to the following:

    - bonnet respray
    - front and rear bumber respray.
    - alloys refurbed,
    - replace my stereo with a multi CD Changer with MP3 compatability,
    - rear boot spoiler, and last of all...
    - better lights.

Which leads me to ask...I have read and seen various posts regarding Angel eyes, and I think they would look great on mine. However, unless I missed it I do not recall anyone saying whether or not there is any marked improvement in beam range. Is there any improvement other than looks, or is a HID kit a better option?

All this will be cheaper than buying a new car, which could be plagued with problems. Now that I have decided to keep her long term, this will also be something I have wanted to do for some time.

HID with the angel eyes would be the BEST option

Good on you for keeping the car, if you like it, keep it (unless a cheap VXR comes up between now and then)

How easy were they to fit? and did they need much adjustment once fitted?
Only ask as I've seen a thread with the front bumper removed when fitting them.

I'm prob gonna get a set also, mate, as I need a new headlight anyway.

I'm wondering the same thing.. are they just plug and play, or do you need to faff about with anything else?

I want them to be brighter also, as standard Vec lights were shocking.. any suggestions? buy some good bulbs?
