    Default TV Advice

    Hey y'all,

I'm looking into buying the below listed television. Would like a HD for under £500 and this one just seems to scream at me. The reviews online have been fantastic, but I'm just wondering if anyone has any personal interactions with the TV? I don't want to stretch past £500 as it'll just be for my bedroom. And a 32" would be ideal, although, if there's any better quality but slightly smaller inchage for a similar price (Say a minimum of 27") I'd be happy to take any recommendations.

(I'm aware it's cheaper elsewhere on the web, I believe. But I've got a mate who works at Argos who can get me some % off)

    http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...29%3D32.32.htm

Any advice/dealings with would be appreciated.

Can't wait to hook the PS3 up to it.

    Regards,

The samsungs are excellent in my opinion, never had a fault with any of them. I've got the 37" HD version of the unit your looking at but paid only £479 from Dixons.co.uk with free delivery too. If you try http://www.google.co.uk/search?clien...=Google+Search on google I managed to get a good discount by trying all the vouchers, bit of a pain but £50 is £50!!!!

PS the PS3 is excellent hooked up to the Samsung, you'll love it!!!!

My old work's flat in Dublin has one of those. It's a good job, though it's only hooked up to analogue cable, so I've no clue what the HD is like on it.

Sainburys have had some 32" Sony Bravia's in reduced to £450. Can't remember which model tho.
I was seriously tempted until the other half told me there was nothing wrong with the tv we've already got.

Buy the Samsung, I have an older one in the same style and it is great. XBox 360 on it is superb!! I got mine on a deal at £719 when they were £999.
Now they are below £500 and are worth every penny

Thing is, it's just for my room, and I know that a full HD will be better. But with it just being for my room the Blu-Ray on the Ps3 and the Ps3 itself with the HD capabilities will be just fine for my room. I shall be getting a bigger HD TV for the living room in a couple months (going halves with my roommate).

Appreciate the input so far guys, will just keep sniffing around.

samsungs always get a good review if you go to john lewis they have a 32" for 499.00 with 5 yr warrenty and a bettet contrast ratio as for full hd this is a little pointless as for the near future know one will be broadcasting in full hd and a difference is only noticed on a larger screen i.e 45" and above so for the time being umay as well stick to 1080i
