Default problems with hids 4 u ultimate kit

Have bought an ultimate kit from hids4 u in november and have had constant problems with the drivers side

After 2 weeks or so, light went out while driving and bulb warning light came on

They sent me a new ballast, which worked fine for 2 weeks then same happened again

They sent me another new ballast, same thing happened.

They sent me a new starter, which I've fitted, but still doesnt work- seems as though this latest ballast is kaput

So they're sending me a new complete side of ballast, starter and lamp

    Anyone else had a problem?

The passenger side has worked fine from day one....

However the drivers side has not been the same "soft start" when firing up...just wondering if a dodgy starter can cause a ballast to fail, given that the starter is "upstream" of the ballast in the circuit??

Worried now that it might be a car problem-can't see how though as t'other side works

    Anyone any clues?

    Mike

Sorry mate but you've had it. I bought from the same company and tried several different looms to make them work. Even GG made some superb looms for me, but eventually I still had shutdown problems.

These kits should not be sold for the veccy. They don't work on all cars, whether it be the kits that vary or the capacitor (that's the crucial piece) it doens't matter. You'll never get them right. Trust me I tried like you wouldn't believe. I even tried the loom the HIDS4U supply. Send them back whilst you still have a chance

yes you are right a dodgy starter can cause a ballast to fail but the ballast can make the lamp fail to

you would be better getting a complete new side than keep changing bits
