Default Anoying bits of wax left in pot, can they be melted together?

Just wondering, as my Nattys old pot has a lot of broken bits rolling around, I know with candle wax you can melt it, can you do this with car wax? fed up of trying to get some evenly on my aplicator, and getting big lumps.....be nice to melt the all together.

Yep, as above. I've done that on a tin of Collinite as it got low and it got rid of the little bits that don't go onto the pad evenly.
