ibelive its a harder ride than the 18" wheel but if you go for the 19s then you will need 235/35 tyres

Go for 18's m8, the ride if you have bad roads will be poor with 19's fitted.

19's will buckle really easily, and also you will feel every dust particle on the road.

    18's!!

with 8.5 x 19's and 215 tyres they will be quite stretched, this will make for a slightly harder ride and the wheels will be easier to damage.
    i have 8.5 x 19's with 225 tyres and they are stretched a bit. i would recommend 225's or 235's.

mine is lowered on coilovers, about 75mm ish, so the ride is pretty hard, but thats more to do with the coilovers than the wheels.
