Default Front Fog light not working

    Right,

Been and finally bought two new laser blue fog lights (H3) for my 52 SRi as I got the warning.

Problem is I fitted replaced the working one first and all was fine though the second didn't have the plastic cover on so the bulb was open to the elements. Checked the bulb and seems fine so replaced it anyway and it still doesn'y work.

Would thr damp getting damaged the fitting?? What can be done.

Goign to call the dealer I go tit from tomorrow and have a word if you know what I mean as I haven;t touched the thing since I bought it at Christmas. (and the warning came on the day after )

He may say that it was there when it left the dealership and its not their problem. It all depends on how good they are and if you reported it sooner but never went in. Did the contacts that the lamp plugs into look all ****ted up?

Did it using the 'force'. The bulb that came out looked a little weathered.

Water would have definitely got in so do I need to dry it our.......?

I would have a look at the connections in the lamp unit. I doubt it will need drying out as it should be dry unless you have been driving in the rain recently.

Is that possible without taking the bumper off?

I can jack the car up and put on axle stands if I need to get underneath.
