    Default looking at fitting an amp

    as above .have cd70 sat nav .was told by my local audio centre that there is a pre out on the radio is this true ? or is he just bull s4itting me

    bull poo as far as I know but converting speaker output to an rca line out is easy and relatively cheap

    lots of amps will take a powered input as well as a line level input, just choose the right one and you'll be fine.

    There is a wire you can get which will convert to a preout. probably get it from your audio mate

    the subs i bought had a built in amp with built in inputs for using the rear speakers.

    I havent used it like that (i used pre-outs as i upgraded the H/U) so cannot comment on the quality.

    FYI - its a FLI trap (made by vibe) double 12" box 1000watts each spkr (about 320rms) and is quite nice sounding plus its the same colour carpet as my vecs boot carpet

    bought it from ebay for about £170
