Me! On my old 1.9 the fuel pump threw a fault code up on Tech 2 so they changed it

My fuel pump on my 3.0 V6 packed up after 3 or 4 months with a tuning box on. The Euro 4 3.0 V6 does not like to be tuned (others have had issues too). I had problems with my car the minute I put a box on. I tried 2 boxes and both caused issues with flat spots and engine cutting out on acceleration . Finally the fuel pump packed up. Had that changed, sold the box and since then had no problems whatsoever with the running of it.

I don't think that anyone actually offers a remap for the V6 these days anyway (certainly not as many as there used to be).Parts on the V6 engine are extremely expensive (as some have found to their cost). There are a good number of cars coming onto the market now that supposedly have 'tamper-proof' ECU's.I think that possibly some manufacturers are beginning to get the message.

I suspect that the fuel system on your 120 is pretty much the same as the 150 anyway (I could be wrong),so you aren't likely to get any serious bother.Come to think of it from a reliability point of view, the 120 is possibly the most tunable diesel Vectra there is.
