Have you had springs break?

Getting seriously worried abou the horror stories of springs breaking and on some occassions bursting a tyre as they go.

Nope, not the originals that were on for almost two years of the car's life, and not the Irmscher ones that replaced them.

All sorts of funny noises going on which have done since the car was a year old, now 4.5 years old but no broken spring yet.

Yeap - I had one go summer last year and the car is in the garage right now having another broken spring replaced ! ! ! ! !

I've been driving for over 20 years and this is the first time that I've ever had problems with springs.

Is it down to speed bumps, (that the local council must have got a discount on because they are EVERYWHERE).

OR

Are the VX springs just a load of cr@p ? ? ?
