    rolleyes Has anyone???

Had my 2.2 dti sri re-mapped abit back all good, better fuel economy, and better peformance. BUT sometimes when i,m putting my foot down abit when the rev,s get to 2000 when the turbo kicks in the clutch slips and acceleration is lost. it doesnt do this all the time and most of the time when i put my foot downs its fine.
i dont think the plate needs replacing as it never slips under 2000rpm, could this be because of the increased power/torque going through gear box???
Would a clutch from a 2.2 petrol help, Any ideas

    Cheers Phil

    Default

the 2.2 dti, and most diesels produce max torque at 2000-3000 rpm. Below that there is very little torque or power. That may be why its slipping. I doubt a 2.2 petrol clutch would be any better. Just a new 2.2dti one.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!
