    Default Estate Rear Camber Adjustment

    Can it be done on an estate?
    Have read that can be done on hatch.
    Mine is an SRi if makes any difference-wouldn`t of thought so.

    Is £40 a good price for 4 wheel alignment.On that site that GSi recommended?
    Hunter machine.

    £40 sounds good as I was quoted £65 plus vat at an alignmycar place near me.

    Did you fit the bushes in the end as I bought some today as the dealers couldn't find anything wrong even though they heard the noise. Apparently they lubricated the bush.

    when you go and get it done watch them if you can as most tyre centres say a 4 wheel alignment and only adjust the fronts.

    when they have adjusted the front first they should then but the front gages on the rear and the rear on the front

    No they are still in the packet.Mechanic friend said he would be gobsmacked if it was bushes on a 3 1/2 year old car at 30k.

    So we greased the front pan with copper slip and checked the spring and spring mod and so far,it`s been quite as a mouse.Can just hear all the rattles at rear now.
    But we will over haul both front struts and fit new spring mods in summer and clean and regrease it all.

    I wasted £5.12 then........

    Going for a quick drive tomorrow morning to see if its fixed. Fitting my eibachs friday so will have a look as well to see how easily they can be changed.

    Look not to hard to do if a little fiddly and time consuming.
    Also oiled rad mounts at same time to.

    sure can be done.. the subframes are near on identical, so all the adjusters are the same...
