    Ok
After gettin back from Dublin end of this month i am going to get a exhaust system done.
    What would you opt for?
Twin exit or Single exit twin box

Have to be honest im thinking a single exit twin box

I considered the twin exit system mod when i first got mine.

I wanted to replace my single pipe with the twin ones off the 3.0 diesel. I thought it would be as simple as replacing the rear section of exhaust and rear trim to allow the pipes to poke out.

Went to dealers who showed me the diagram for the full exhaust system of both cars and they are entirely different so replacing just the back section was not an option.

    Unless anyone knows different?

Twin exit should not be allowed on any car that is not a V6.

Well I would say that as I have a V6!

Twin exit, if only because it would make it look like a V6

The Vxl system may not fit, but there are others that will. Just look on LMF

Twin exit for me, looks more 'even' if you see what I mean.

Plenty of people have done this. All you need is the additional rear box and a Y piece to then allow you to connect it up. You don't have to go and buy the whole complete exhaust - so your dealer was talking rubbish. Then all you need is the different bumper insert to have the twin cutouts.

They are listed in the approved trader section. Do all sorts of Vxl parts including sports exhausts. Apparently you may be able to get some discount by being a member on here.
