    Default accelerator pedal "offset" ?

i noticed that my gas pedal has a little "empty travel" in the beggining when pressing ( lets say cca. 1/2 inch), and then, only after that distance it accept gas...
in know it is electronic pedal - potentiometer .

i assume that is not normal , and can be repair?

i dont know is it software or hardware problem ?

How is your gas pedal ?

    cdti 150ks ver. motor...

Same here, I thought it was a throttle position sensor issue to be honest.

Feel the response is not the best in this engine - may just be a characteristic of Deisel.

yes i forgot to mentioned that - respons on gas is awful on this engine ....

my VW TDI PD in a second if u press accelerator pedal goes on 2,3 k rev, on this engine, revs go for 200,300 o/min .. but that has nothing with gas pedal and its "empty travel"

so thats normal with that dead travel of pedal ? I dont think so
