i need to send 5 litres of gearbox oil and 2 litres of brake fluid through the post problem is i have tried parcels2go.com and the companies giving me quotes saying oil is on their restricted items list.

woud be hard to send tham as that mate.. the only thing u could do is say it was something else..
yeh i was thinking of doing that but really wanted to be covered by insurance and you can here it sloshing about

That's the list of Prohibited Goods - doesn't look like new oil or brake fluid fall under it (unless brake fluid is corrosive? Don't think it is).
I had a quick flick through, I'll let you look through in more depth.
Also, you could talk to your local dealer and see who they use if they ever need to have anything like that couried.
didnt really think it would be a problem until now,its sealed/unopened so i will have a read through, cheers.
I know where you are coming from, but to be honest these type of packages cause no end of bother and most courier companies will do their best to discourage you from sending them through their systems.
If it realy needs to be sent and is a one off don't tell them what is in it and make sure it is well padded and packaged.
