reversing sensors

hey everyone just joined , and think this site is great. my question to you all is about reversing sensors. are there any particular ones that should be used on the vectra, are they easy to install. i went to vauxhall and they were over 300 pound!!!!

You can get some that fit around the numberplate which are apparently vey good.... someone who has them will be along shortly to tell you more!!!

Hello m8....

Was that for the proper factory fit equivalent (front and rear) jobbies or just an aftermarket one which they fit themselves? (if you know what I mean?).

That'll be the Vx aftermarket (Bosch) rear sensors - fitted and painted. It's what I got put onto my Signum and they work a treat. Best thing was they didn't cost me a penny in the end!!

So these Bosch ones, do you have them connected to the switch on the dash where the Factory fit ones would be?

No, it's a self-contained unit. The box that connects to the sensors gets fitted in the rear of the car and has the beeper speaker in it as well. It's all activated when you select reverse gear.

my local vxl are doing a four sensor kit fitted for 199.00 but then to spray ????
or six sensor kit for 249.00
or a camera and screen built into the mirror for (cant remember will look when i get home)
