    Default Front spring change.

Does anyone know if it is possible to change the fnt springs without having a compression tool? I know the rears can be done without it, but can the fronts?
Is it possible to do it just using the trolley jack to take the tension??

    Thanks Guys.

In a word no,as the strut and spring come out in 1 complete unit, the only way is with spring compressors Larry, anyway their not expensive, can pick up a set for £15-20........

probv used a jack under the bottom are while undoing the top nut..

strongly discouraged here...use compressors..life is worth more than £15....

Take both strut assembly's off and take them to a local garage with the new springs, won't take them more than 10 minutes to swap the springs over.
